La Grange
This beautiful barn is situated in the Cruese region of the Limousin and has 430sqm of habitable space. There are 6 ensuite bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 16 people. There is a large lounge with a pool table, baby grand piano and comfortable sofas around a traditional log burner. The spacious kitchen-diner, with it's large rustic table, can accommodate large groups at meals times. There is a separate lounge/games room with a TV/games console, table-tennis table, children's pool table and dart board on the ground floor. Both lounges and the kitchen have double doors which open out onto the gardens. There is also a large, dedicated laundry room on the ground floor.

Lying in the west of the Creuse near the borders of Haute Vienne, Chatelus le Marcheix sits 390ft above sea level in a hilly, woodland setting where you can clearly see the 18th Century church across the 'misty morning' valley. The barn is just a 5 minute drive from the River Thaurion, where there is a small beach with a life guard and a small kiosk selling ice-creams and cold beers. Here, deep in France's forgotten countryside, you can take a step out of life and enjoy a beautiful area where nature still thrives.

One of the most exciting parts of booking a holiday is planning all the exciting places to visit and planning things to do. If you're only visiting us for a week, you may simply want to laze around the pool, take a bike ride or just explore the countryside on foot. However, if you have booked for two or more weeks, you may wish to venture further afield and explore more of the delight of France.
Bourganeuf is one of our nearest towns, 25 minutes away from the barn, with a beautiful cinema, supermarket and weekly markets. Marsac is 15 minutes in the other direction where there is a train station and restaurants, and Ambazzac has a Super U and an Aldi for all your food needs.
